Six Cats in a Bathtub

the shenanigans of my six cat household,
Sketchbook Work, and other stuff

Oh my goodness, I love this video so much! I already loved that song by The Shins, it was my favorite from their new album, but this video just makes it even more awesome! It makes me want to have the patience to make amazing things.

So here are the main characters from a story I am working on for my Digital Drawing class.
From left to right ——-> Sooth, Philli, James, Kaisa
I’ll write more about their actual STORY later (mostly cause I’m still trying to figure it out myself)

A sketch of my character Yuki, from FOR-EV-ER ago! I think maybe it was over the summer last year? When I was trying to get re-familiar with Photoshop.
Which is kind of what I’m trying to do now…..and why I found this again in the first place.

some doodles of characters that I am working on for my digital drawing class.

I’ll probably explain the story later when the project is actually finished.

(except the Redhead, he’s related to a different story that I will probably explain later aswell)

Their outfits are inspired by pieces that I found on——-> omgthatdress.tumblr.com

The first 3D model I’ve ever done. For my digital drawing class, Modeled and colored in Sculptris.

He’s supposed to have trees on his back.

He was based on a sketch that I posted here a little while ago.

“To travel to the centre of Australia, to climb King’s Canyon, as a queen, in a full length Gautier sequin, heels, and a tiara.”
:D This just made me unbelievably happy! Particularly because, not only was my day becoming kind of crappy, but because a good friend of mine remembered me and my love for this movie!
<3 Pricilla Queen of the Desert is one of my all time favorites~<3

I blame the snow for getting me so excited that I forget the essential items I need for my day. And for VCU getting me so angry for not delaying class that I had to leave 20 minutes early to get through all of the traffic backups to make it to class on time.

I am also sad for my painting teacher for being forced to hold class despite the fact that he is clearly ill and shouldn’t be there.

This is why I love/hate this school. I love my classes, hate the administration for being insensitive to the needs of commuter students and teachers.

I hate it when I forget my sketchbook at home. Even if I don’t actually draw in it everytime I bring it with me, I still feel like it’s part of my person and I’m not myself without it.

My first homework assignment for Sequential Imaging was to watch Fargo (or another of the three movie choices) and illustrate it in four panels.
I kind of wish I had picked different panels after she revealed to us how the four-beat structure, as she calls it, actually worked. But I think I like it enough as it is too.
I had to fit that woodchipper scene in there!
(This was done a little less than a month ago)
